Bridgeway Christian Academy (BCA) is pleased to report that we have been recently named a Non-Profit Ministry Partner of WLFJ, 89.3 FM (HIS Radio). Over the past several months, BCA has advertised on the popular radio station, informing its listeners about what makes our school so special. It is becoming well-known throughout the greater Greenville area that BCA partners with families to provide a safe, culturally-diverse environment focused on academic excellence with a Jesus-centered worldview. Through this partnership, we have been able to reach prospective families and let them know that BCA is a wonderful choice for their children.

BCA will be on the air again starting next Monday, May 1st to promote our upcoming Open House on Monday, May 8th. Be sure to tune in and let your friends know to keep their dials programmed to 89.3 FM.

BCA Students Provide Mission Work With YWAM

This Spring, BCA’s eighth grade class had the privilege of partnering with YWAM, a discipleship training school. YWAM, also referred to as Youth with a Mission, encourages “knowing God, and making Him known.”

BCA’s eighth grade class was able to travel to YWAM’s headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina to join in the mission of spreading God’s word and helping out in the community. Here, the provided food for over fifteen students who wouldn’t be able to eat over the weekend otherwise, reaching out into the community by praying and seeing signs of deliverances and healings, and taking time to participate in community services. These are only a few of the numerous ways we were able to partner with YWAM on our missions trip.

YWAM continues to reach into their community by feeding the youth with the word of God. Once a month YWAM goes to houses around town and invites the children to come to the Front Porch Ministries. This is a time where the missionaries of YWAM are able to provide games, food, and God’s word with youth. On our trip, we were able to help in the preparation for this special event.

Throughout our time in working with YWAM, our eighth graders were able to witness the different work fields through missions and the various ways to reach out and spread God’s presence. We are called to go out into the world and spread our faith. Missions is an important assignment given through our Heavenly Father, and BCA intends on following through with the task given.
