Bridgeway Christian Academy (BCA) strives to prepare each student academically and spiritually to go out into the world as disciples and tell others about Jesus. BCA is a non-denominational outreach school and is proud to have students from all over the world in their classrooms. ”We teach Jesus and plant seeds in our students lives who may not even understand Christianity,” stated Kimberly Reeve, School Administrator. From encouraging students to pursue music or sports, to helping children come out of their shell, BCA seeks to push students to do their very best and succeed while doing it. “I have watched students who would never have chosen to play sports or music if we had not encouraged them to try it. We begin preparing students to try new activities at a young age,” said Reeve. The top priority of BCA is to teach students about Jesus and how to have a relationship with Him. “We want to help students recognize who they are and help them establish a relationship with Jesus. I really want a child to understand why they love Jesus and what Jesus represents in their life,” said Reeve.

BCA offers small class sizes which allow each teacher to have one-on-one time with each student. The school recognizes that all students learn differently and may need extra help. “God created us all differently and we know as educators that all students learn differently. We do a lot of out of the box teaching to meet the needs of each child and we don’t believe that a test tells how smart a child is,” replied Reeve. When a child becomes a student at BCA they become part of the “family”. “We keep up with our BCA alumni and currently we have a few families who I taught that now have enrolled their children in BCA. I love seeing this circle of life over the years. God has provided me the opportunity to pray with alumni students who have reached out for prayer because of the seeds that were planted so many years ago” replied Reeve. BCA will be starting high school this year and will add grades 10-12th in the upcoming years. BCA is accredited through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). Staff members had to prepare content for the accreditation and were interviewed extensively. BCA invites all families to call and schedule a personal tour of the academy.
