Activities and Outreach

The outreach of Bridgeway Christian Academy is the embodiment of our motto, “To Lead and To Serve”

This year our key verse is Luke 22:26 “But among you it will be different. Those who are the greatest among you should take   the lowest rank, and the leader should be like a servant.”

BCA currently supports 10 children from around the world. We send monthly gifts through One Child Matters.  Our support ensures these children receive hot meals each day, educational opportunities, and daily instruction in the Word of God.

This past November, we held our annual food drive to collect non- perishable food items for the Greenville Salvation Army. The students also participated in Operation Christmas Child in partnership with Samaritans Purse by packing and shipping shoeboxes of Christmas gifts to children around the world.

In December we sponsored an annual toy drive for children of needy families in the Greenville community. We also had the chance to serve at the distribution center.

Each month, the elementary classes visit local nursing homes and retirement centers including Greenville Glen, Southern Oaks, Rolling Green, Evergreen, Greenville Place, Brookdale and Bellaire.

This year our middle school students will use monthly service days to serve our school and local church, rake leaves for the elderly, assist in decorating Christmas trees at Greenville Glen, and spend time with residents at the local retirement centers to play games and share crafts.

We believe that part of being a leader is learning how to serve and give back to the community surrounding our school.
